Nagoya Sushi & Grill in Cologne

The sushi is ok but the thing that bothered me the most was no soy sauce with my $25 dollar order. So if your like me and need soy sauce for the wasabi make sure you ask for it I guess since they are to cheap to just give it to you like every else I go for sushi

Polite staff and excellent food. the sushi looks like art, the chefs really put love and passion into every roll. The chicken fried rice is rich with flavors of chicken not just soy sauce. Truly a wonderful experience. thank you

Fresh fish and quick service. Inexpensive. The chef is a master and I've been going here since it opened. Always delicious.

This place is great.. it might not look like much but the sushi is absolutely stunning. I’ve been to over 20 sushi places in the valley and this place has got to be one of my favorites. The sushi is incredibly good. Highly recommend. The service was also very awesome! We will definitely be coming back and making the journey again!

This was a great place!! Super recommend. Great atmosphere, I loved all of the seasoning they used!! It was different than any other sushi place I've tried in the past. Relatively inexpensive too. :) Love the menu.

My sister in law and I came to this place and we thought it was great! The sushi was affordable and it tasted yummy! We ordered WAY too much per usual, but the service was good! This spot is very small but I will definitely come back!

Absolutely great sushi. Make it even better is they offer Real Wasabi for just a few bucks. After trying real Wasabi with the Times Square roll. I can't go back to plain sushi Wasabi.

We can all agree, its hard to find good sushi. This was my first time going here and I was very impressed. The way I was greeted and service throughout was impeccable. The quality of the sushi was good, as well as how it was put together and presented. I had the Caterpillar Roll, Shrimp Tempura Roll and Fried Rice. The reason for 4 stars. Fried rice wasn't that great, ginger wasn't good at all and Wasabi wasn't that spicy. Other than that, everything else was good

This place is okay owner is cheap gave us cold meat like raw meat undercooked I explained that it was cold mf didn’t even re heat it he took the bowl in the back and just let it sit there and let the soup heat up the meat didn’t even give me a new bowl just awful don’t recommend especially during an epidemic

First time eating here with the family. We were looking for a new sushi spot in town, and luckily we found it. Place is very clean, as soon as we walked in the door we were greeted with smily faces and directed to a table. Prices are reasonable and sushi is very tasty, good portions too. My husband only complained about the small amount of fresh Wasabi he requested lol. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Great service!

I used to enjoy this place. Got take-out, and got not one, but 2 rolls with bones in it. This has never happened to me with sushi. The caterpillar roll and spicy salmon were 50% bone pieces somehow

Best sushi and service you will get anywhere! The Seared Salmon Roll and Jalapeño Bomb are incredible. I can’t say enough about this place, my wife and I visit every week (even during this pandemic). The staff here always take great care of us and they are super friendly. Try it, you won’t be disappointed! To the Business Owners, thank you!

Nagoya Sushi is our new favorite! Their rolls are delicious, the portions are great and the ratios are perfect. All of this without breaking the bank. Both times my husband and I have been, they gave us complimentary samples and have consistently amazing customer service. I highly recommend!

Every time I’m in town, this is the first place I eat. They have some of the best sushi I’ve ever had, and the food is very affordable. Every time I walk in the door, the owner greets me like an old friend. 10/10 would recommend Nagoya to everyone.

Don't let the high ratings and good reviews fool you on this sushi restaurant. It's quaint and nice and is clean but the service was absolutely horrendous. I took my nine-year-old nice for dinner, her choice. We walk in and are greeted by a staff member, he asked us just 2, I told him yes he showed us to a table that was right near the door on a cold rainy windy night. I asked him if it was okay if we sat away from the door and he seemed annoyed and he said yeah over there, and pointed across the restaurant to the table in this hallway/walkway area. We sat down ordered our drinks and it took us about 10 minutes to decide on what we wanted to order. The server's already seemed annoyed with us that it took 10 minutes for us to decide, when we got our food we got our appetizers with our Sushi all at the same time. They did forget our vegetable tempura and when I asked about it, one of the many servers, we didn't have a set server, told me that it was getting fried up right now. No one ever came by and asked if we needed refills on our soda which we did, they were doing the classic I'm going to walk and look away and act like I don't see your empty cup or see you trying to get my attention, move. I was finally able to get someone's attention for the check. I paid my bill and I did not leave a tip. I felt really disregarded there as a patron of the restaurant. My niece and I were ignored and perhaps it's because we weren't a big party of people and we weren't ordering the $14 rolls or we weren't ordering sake bombers. And when I asked for the check, I told the server that we never got our veggie tempura and he said oh of course I'll take it off the bill, of course you're going to take it off the bill you idiot we didn't even get it to eat it. The fact of the matter is whenever it's a small bill I always tip 100%. Even when it's subpar service I'll tip an amount but the fact that they ignored us and treated us like we weren't important because we weren't ordering a large amount of food, I decided to leave no tip. Even my niece noticed that they were treating us different and being more attentive to the tables with people drinking. I'm sure when they got my ticket and they saw no tip they knew why, and if they don't know now they know. Also as soon as we left the restaurant I immediately started feeling sick from the food. I continued to feel sick throughout the night and now this morning. I will never be back to this place ever again.

The place had a nice atmosphere, and the staff was fast and friendly. The menu has some traditional favorites, but also a few with some twists. I thought the execution was exceptional z but also the fosh was great and the rice was cooked to perfection. I'm picky about sushi, but don't always have the highest expectations. This place exceeded my expectations and every bite was delicious and made the experience very worth while. I highly recommend Nagoya Sushi.
